Undead Control

Postby ElderDithas » Tue Mar 09, 2010 2:29 pm

For players Undead is almost completely meaningless mechanically. I suppose the one specific exception for this is you can't dispel them. Necromancy is part of my character's background, RP, Av ran plots and so on. I would like to suggest that animate dead work more like animate object, where you have more control over what each undead does. This could lead to some very interesting RP situations and would make sense for the spellcasting necromancer to be able to have a little more control than the pied piper over his undead minions.

Actually, kelemvor priests under the old system had this ability, not sure if it can be put back in or not. Might be a good thing to ask about.
